Terrible bank. ATM’s are down 80% of the time with zero notice. Poor customer service as well. BB&T was way better. Do not bank with Truist.

went to timberlake branch to deposit a check from another bank and was told they had to put a hold on it for 3 days just because of the amount that it was...so the boy that was helping me said i will be right back so he went to talk to the manager on call because i told him i needed it for a purchase today and he said oh okay but still had to ask her,,,, so i know she verified the funds as they always do turned and looked at us as tho we were criminals and had the authority to override the hold and would not and said we have to make sure the funds are good and blah blah blah,,,, all i wanted was to deposit it and not get cash but i guess people still judge the outside appearance, different rules for different people that apply, i bet if it was her mother that needed money it would had been deposited just saying!!!!! thinking of changing banks i have been a customer for over 20 years never had been treated in such a way as this,

I was in the market for a car in June and a good friend recommended I try the bank he has been using for several years. Told me that they have always treated him like family. I reached out to the ladies in the loan department and asked some questions. They were very informative and professional and told me to contact them when I found the right car to purchase. Once I found it I called them at 8 In the morning and left a message knowing they wouldn't be open until 9. Gabrielle called me back before 9. Keep in mind I had never banked with them ever. Gabrielle took my information over the phone and within a few hours had a check ready for me to purchase the car I wanted and didn't have to deal with finance department at the dealership. She has been so pleasant to deal with through out the whole process. I can't say enough good things about her and the whole experience with CVFCU. I highly recommended banking with them.

Do NOT give them your money. I unfortunately have banked here all my life since I was little and the last year during thier "upgrades" they have gotten unbearable. Thier tellers are incompetent and don't know what they are doing. Some rules are federal and I understand that but they do everything they can to make it as difficult as it can be to get YOUR money. Money that have in their bank. It's not your money until the let you have it. From broken websites to apps that don't work take your money elsewhere. And when you try to solve a problem of getting your money they simply smile and laugh at you with "there's nothing we can do even though it's your money they hold it hostage. Do your research and go elsewhere.
