The negative reviews previously posted are not even locally-accredited reviewers and are likely bots and shouldn't be believed. I have had an account here since I was 13 years old, and the folks are extremely friendly and understanding. They offer all the services you need, including checking, savings, CDs, mortgages, personal loans, safe deposit boxes, Christmas club, mobile banking app with check deposit, ATMs, debit card, notary and full teller and drive-thru services. In the past, I have had issues with overdrafts and they have helped to resolve them and even refunded the fees. I've also had to have some old statements pulled, and they were able to email me PDF copies in just a few hours. The only complaint I have is not about the folks at 1st NRV FCU, but about the small width of the drive-thru; they should really consider remodelling this and expanding/widening the drive thru bays. They recently redone the interior of the building...why this wasn't done too I don't know. Other than that, I have no complaints and nothing but praise for this great local CU.

Received a terrible experience with a teller representative Alicia. I've been a customer for nearly 5 years and have never had an experience such as this one. I called to process my regular monthly payment as i always do and were ver specific with my request. understanding that we are all human, there was an error made on there end with processing my payment from the incorrect account requested. Immediately upon explaining my issue the representative started speaking to me with a rude tone, stating she weren't in yesterday and that there is nothing they can do. she placed me on hold, stating she were seeking further assistance and the call dropped. Didn't receive a return call; i had to call them back. upon doing so i called back and asked to speak with the manager after such a rude interaction with her previously she tried to rush the conversation telling me she had a client in front of her.... making it as if that customers' needs are more urgent than my own. declined transferring my call to the manager and offered to let me speak w/ the rep who made the payment error to begin with! just an overall terrible customer service experience. Hopefully the manager returns my call for further assistance to proceed with closing out my account.

This was my first credit union experience and it won’t be my last! They offer all of the benefits of the large national banks I’ve done business with (mobile banking, ATMs, debit card, notary and full teller services) but with friendly and personalized small town service. I’d have kept my account but for the fact that I took a job out of state and thus have moved.

Was a customer for several years until I dealt with a rude, condescending, disrespectful, and unprofessional banker. After this terrible experience I closed my account. I couldn't tell if she was racist and/or just unprofessional. Either way, avoid this place like the plague. The worst financial institution I've ever interacted with, by far.
