First Baptist of Vienna has been my home church for 30 years, we have raised our 3 children in this church and have grown spiritually since joining. The members are warm and welcoming and I love the innovative ways that we reach out to the community for ministry opportunities!! All are welcome to join us in ministry opportunities and in Sunday morning and Wednesday evening worship services, we have something for all generations.

Thirty-two years ago, we entered the doors and joined First Baptist Church of Vienna as a young family with young children, new to the area and new to a bible believing and teaching church in the Washington Metropolitan Area. The worship experiences are filled with excitement, education and emphasis to renew my walk on a daily basis. With a phenomenal spirit to service and open heart for people regardless of background, status or experience, Pastor Vernon C. Walton has continued the legacy of community engagement and involvement and renewed an inclusive spirit of ALL ARE WELCOME! First Baptist Church is THE place to be each week at midweek service 7p on Wednesday and Sunday mornings!

Joining FBCV 14 years ago was an excellent decision. There were opportunities for spiritual growth and many Christian learning options in which my husband and I took advantage of many of them. Today we enjoy the warmth of our church family, the powerful preaching, great choirs, the activities of our youth, ministering to the homeless and sick and many more. Come..experience our awesome worship service!!

First of all, thanks to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for Pastor Vernon C Walton in how he presents the Word of God for understanding and knowledge that will strengthen you in your Christian journey. Charles and I have experienced the LOVE of God throughout the ministry. From greeters at the doors, ushers hugs and giving of information, praises and worship songs through the music ministry. Each person who has come across our path has shown us the LOVE of GOD in this ministry. We are blessed!! And many thanks to the Deacons and Deaconesses , who call and take the time to check on us. Thanks for bringing us the LOVE and Communion when we can not attend church services. It is appreciated and we say THANK YOU! Charles and I are glad to be members of the First Baptist Church of Vienna. Big hugs to you all ❤❤

It's been a blessing to my life to be a member of First Baptist Church for 31 years. I can attest to the fact...no one can love you like the members of "First". There is always "Par Excellence ", preaching by our Pastor. Many of the members genuinely care. We are not a perfect congregation. Nevertheless we are striving to be more like Christ. Our Christian Leadership Academy/Sunday School are taught by Instructors that have prepared, and equipped themselves to engage the students, to bring about "Transformation" to those who seek to find God.
