So… I’ve noticed 3 fraudulent transactions regarding my account and each transaction was $100. So $300 got stolen from me. I’m in Va beach and the theirs used my Kroger account in Ohio. When I contacted the bank , the bank at first was helping. Then they saw an October fraudulent activity and now doesn’t want to help me and is saying I should have saw it in October so they’re not refunding me my money. They said I opened the online account at least 50 times and since I didn’t catch the first $100 I’m now responsible for the other $200. WORST BANK EVER!!! Never in my life would I thought I’d be blamed for someone else stealing my money. What kind of bank is this. No wonder is a 3 star bank! I should have read the reviews PRIOR to switching to this bank smh.

I’ve been banking with this credit union for YEARS. Today, I called about a $105 refund that I am expecting from a company that I believe scammed me. BMFCU told me there was NOTHING they could do because “you approved the purchase.” Any other credit union (i’ve personally experienced this at Navy Federal) would refund the money and file a dispute with the company, but nooooo, not BMFCU, it’s the consumer’s fault. I’m sorry, but I have been banking with y’all for YEARS and this is the treatment I receive over $105? when I put thousands of dollars into your “bank” each year… I cannot believe it. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

We love the Virginia Beach Blvd branch. Staff are kind and helpful. We feel comfortable and welcome every time we visit this branch. Special mention to Ms. Audrey R. , she is so wonderful and very efficient with her job. Thank you for all that you do. We appreciate you.

Been a member with this bank for over 20 years. This bank operates 30 years in the past. No tap, debit or credit cards. I was told last year they were coming and here I am still waiting with no projected time line. Also no direct card replacement have to wait 2 weeks for them to ship you a new card by snail mail. Was told direct replacement was coming but again they can’t provide a time line. I’ve finally have had enough and am switching banks.

Been a member since I married into it. My family have been members since the 70s. Always friendly and helpful.
