When I first became a member, I thought they were great. My only issue initially was their location and parking. Recently, I had an issue with some fraud on my account. I have had them reach out for transactions they suspected as fraud and I was happy about that. I felt that they were definitely on their job. This time, there was $700+ in fraudulent transactions and it was never caught. I logged in to pay a bill and saw the transactions - 4 in total. I reached out to them. They immediately deactivated my card and contacted me about a new one and told me I would receive a credit while the investigation took place. I saw the credit immediately and then it was GONE!! I reached out via message with no response so I will be calling them. I don't want to close out that account, but the lack of concern over my finances makes me unhappy and this fraud makes me short taking care of things I need to. This is not at all acceptable. I know banks rip you off which is why I opened this account. I am not sure which is worse - having your needs ignored or being ripped off.

I will always be a member. The location is very convenient. I enjoy myself when I come to take care of my business. Always leaving with a SMILE. Keep up the good work. Sincerely, Miss D Dixon ๐๐๐

Your branch managers lie to people. I have had problems since day one when I opened my account 5 months ago with check deposit fund availability. I have had state government checks initially held for 14 business days because of a new account hold, regular checks held after 30 days of being open because of a new account hold (how is it still a new account), regular checks held for 5 days, regular checks made available the next business day, and so on. There is no consistency, and all of the above violate your own terms and conditions in your disclosures. The worst lie was the last one in mid-September 2018, where your executive relation person promised me the manager reduced an improper 14-day hold to 5-day hold, but never did it. And when I went to try to close my account, I was told I could not just because of this improper hold. I can tell you I will never use your services ever again. You are worse than a bank. Oh, and one more thing - why do you have an automatic 14-day hold on everything check deposit wise in your system. This is absolutely ludicrous and should be on a case-by-case basis. I think a small check ($50) is okay to have a 5 business day hold for US banks, but $2000 checks may need more scrutiny. Same for the system in processing government checks (or your inept tellers not putting it in correctly). But I guess only blanket policies apply here. Perhaps this might get your attention to fix the problems, but I doubt it. People, stay away from this place!

Terrible online account features, several instances of their employees not posting payments to loan account and trying to charge double plus penalties, exceedingly poor customer service via phone and few to no convenient locations in DC. Makes choosing a big international bank with appropriate infrastructure and services preferable.
Weekdays 9amโ4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
