Worst credit union I have ever done business with. Waited 2 weeks for an auto loan payoff. I don’t even want to refinance but I am doing it just so I can actually speak to someone on the phone or get answers about my account when I want them. No after hours customer service for a debit card that I can’t even use to pay a loan that I have with the bank ! “No accounts available “ when you try to transfer money to pay on the loan. This is ridiculous! This is by far the worst credit union I have ever been with I DO NOT RECOMMEND ! You won’t get a call back and they add fees to your account even when it is paid ahead of time. Thank God I didn’t leave Navy Federal I would be up the creek trying to access my money. I will be closing all account tomorrow !

Dept of Labor Credit Union customer service has gone down hill. It’s bad enough that the locations are limited. The last call I had with a representative, I was told to call my branch’s number which happened to be the number I called. Wait times are horrendous, representatives are either rude or seem to lack the appropriate knowledge. Btw- sometimes you can’t choose the “call back” option. You will either get hung up on after selecting the call back option or you may not receive a call altogether. I have also noticed their loan interest rates have increased and the rates are insane for members and the app is regularly malfunctioning.

Been a member for many years, got my husband and son an account as well. There services have really went down. I was recently laid off work, needed assistance with my car loan and personal loan. I was pretty much just told to watch it and make sure it doesn't go into collections. Every week I call them about taking me off overdraft and everytime they say someone will call me back. Still waiting for almost 4 weeks for a call back. Tried calling again today for the 4th time today but the recording kept hanging up on me.

I've been extremely dissatisfied with the service I've received from DOLFCU The bank's poor performance has been consistent across multiple interactions, leaving me frustrated and disappointed. Here are the specific issues I've encountered: - *Excessive wait times*: Calling the bank results in lengthy hold times, making it difficult to get assistance when needed. - *Disorganized staff*: Representatives often seem uncertain or uninformed, providing conflicting information and struggling to answer basic questions. - *Lack of clarity on required documents*: The bank's documentation requirements are unclear, leading to unnecessary delays and confusion. - *Limited branch locations*: With only two walk-in locations, accessing in-person services can be inconvenient. - *Unreliable follow-up*: Staff members frequently fail to return calls as promised, forcing me to repeatedly contact the bank for updates. - *No proactive updates on application status*: I've had to constantly call the bank to inquire about the status of my applications, only to be met with uncertainty or a lack of information. Overall, my experience with this bank has been marred by poor service, inefficiency, and a general lack of accountability. I would not recommend this bank to anyone. There are far better credit unions available that offer superior service and a more customer-centric approach.

I had no real issues working with Labor Credit Union. Nathaniel Merritt was my auto loan officerr. He was very courteous and professional and answered any and all questions and responded to voicemails promptly. The underwriting maybe wasn't as quick as a larger bank, but the lower cost for GAP coverage and outstanding interest rate they offered me was well worth any extra wait.
