Nothing but issues. I opened my account less than a year ago. Opening it was easy, the person my spouse and I worked with was great. But let me tell you, that was as good as it got. I think we switched in June or July from Chase, after having repeated issues not being able to access their ATM because it kept getting stolen. A few months into having Red Canoe, my spouse needed to get a new card because her personal accounts had been compromised, and to be on the safe side, we got her a new card in case that information was stolen. We did not receive the card, no notice from them or anything. This doesn’t end here. Not only that, but my cards had been getting denied random purchases we tried to make, no big deal. At the time we needed to replace it, we opened up a secondary account that was going to be used to combine all the household bills into one account. The woman we worked with was great, but we had some minor issues with that too. To be clear, my spouse is a co-owner and I am the primary. Evidently I needed my spouse there to open the account and add someone else onto it, which makes sense but it was still a “Hmm?” moment as I am the primary. Shouldn’t I have full access to do whatever I want with an account that’s mine? Anyway, we weren’t able to get my spouses card or even the card of the individual I added to my secondary account because their card printer was down. I opted just to have them mail me the card when it was up, because it wasn’t urgently needed. Finally, after two months of waiting and waiting for these cards I had enough time to call and ask “What the heck is going on with these cards?” Apparently, my address was marked as “invalid” or “non-deliverable” because of the way the address was in their system. Um, what do you mean? I have worked with two different individuals inside your branch who never mentioned this, and have never had this issue whatsoever with anybody else. So finally after two full months, the debit cards have been delivered and everything should be good, right? Wrong. Oh, so wrong. I needed to replace my debit card now, in January, after discovering that I had been charged $20 for something I didn’t buy for the past three to four months in a row, either a bill or whatever, at any case, these charges didn’t line up to my purchase. I issued my card as stolen, my new card was set to be delivered, everything was done. This is like mid-January. I get my new card, activate it in the app, and go along my day. I start trying to use my card within the week, some in person transactions are going okay, except at a gas station down the road where I live. Just says “denied transaction type - gas station” or whatever. This becomes an ongoing issue for TWO WEEKS, of random purchases being denied because of “transaction types”. Thankfully I have other banking options available so I was able to fall back on those. Here we are, today 2/1/2026, and I have had enough of Red Canoe denying my card transactions. I tried to process payments on some bills, denied. I tried to pull cash out at the ATM, denied, apparently my debit pin was incorrect at the ATM even though it was NEVER changed. Tried it twice, denied each time. And of course, it’s Sunday, when they’re closed so I can’t call a human and figure out what is going on with it. I called anyway, reset my debit card pin even though it never changed, and tried again. Denied once again. At this rate, I’m seeing red. I am beyond angry. So I drive all the way home, grab my spouses card, and try again. Their card was also denied. At this point, I am absolutely done with Red Canoe. It hasn’t even been a year, and I’ve had so many problems. No thank you. I’ll be withdrawing my funds and moving to my new banking institution after I receive the new debit card from them and all my transactions no longer sit as pending.

Red Canoe provides an exceptional experience. The staff at the branch I visited were courteous, professional, and approachable. They were highly knowledgeable and offered helpful guidance throughout my visit. I will recommend to my family & friends

Avoid at all cost the worst banking experience of my life. After open heart surgery and coming out of a coma everything was negative. I fixed everything the bank had backed out of all services that would allow familly to help. They terminated all the services saying it cost the bank too much to participate with shared branching. Then they treat me like garbage. I have never been so disrespected thanks todd, and Stacey You remind me the management in a credit union can ruin it.

This review is for the Call Center. Don't bother calling them. They can never ever do their job. They ask information that your bank doesn't even know. And according to them , they never , ever ever have your passcode , that is , never , ever a question they ask you. They Sound like a bunch of scammers , Someone was supposed to call me back over my stolen car.Nobody called me back. They said , oh , it takes two days to call someone back. I miss the days of people answering their phone and doing their job.
