A credit union is a little different than a bank. By buying the shares to membership, you're part of something. I'm not sure exactly how much of participation you want to have with your credit union, but because you are a member, if you do have a Civic mind which I don't, you can get more involved with the company. I choose not to. I've been very happy with the service I've been getting and I've been getting service from them for decades.

Well, my experiences would be a zero if I could offer up a zero star. Just needed to change $1.00 for the bus…pulled out one US dollar in hopes of getting 4 quarters or whatever spare change I could use for the bus. You would think we were trying to pass a law in Congress. The lady started typing as if I was about to purchase life insurance and then called a supervisor over to see if it was OK to give me 4 quarters…I mean, seriously, just how hard would it be to even pull out change if you had it in your own purse or wallet to offer somebody change….here’s the thing they went into a lengthy explanation about federal law!!! yada yada yada. On top of that they said I needed to have a bank account there. I’ve gone to banks all over the country just looking to get some dollar bills or break up larger bills and it’s usually a very simple process. Now I see why the reviews for this place are so crappy. Won’t ever do business with this bank because you can’t even get 4 quarters for one US dollar.

I have been banking with Gesa Credit Union since I began my business, nearly 8 years ago. I have always received personable, prompt service. Their tellers are knowledgeable and always happy to help. I highly recommend Gesa for your business needs!
