I have been banking with WFCU since 2017, and I absolutely love it. My favorite thing is that you know the person on the other end of the phone. Big shoutout to my favorite employee Brenda Reynolds who has been a huge reason I’ve stayed with this bank inspite of being 3000 miles away. She will be surely missed but I’m certain Joann and the other wonderful people at this branch will continue to shine and do their jobs with pride. #BLT

Who's bright idea was it to stop being open on Saturdays? Been with this credit union for over 10 years but they just just keep getting more and more inconvenient. It's 2025 what bank doesn't support Zelle payments? This one doesn't. High interest rates, hidden fees, only one inconvenient location and not open Saturday. I think it's time to bank somewhere else

If you are looking for a credit union this is not it. It is run much more like a bank than most banks I have been with. Stay far away.

I would like to give a shout out to Carla Johnson! She works the MEMBER services for the Waterfront Credit Union. She is patient, respectful, knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and understanding! She has always been so gracious when she answers the phones. I truly appreciate all her hard work! Carla, thank you for all that you do! You are the very best!

I wouldn’t recommend this bank to anyone due to their high interest rates and “cross-collateral loan policy”. I forgot to add they do not fix fraudulent charges made despite you reporting them. They force you to pay for fraudulent transactions that you didn’t make despite their inability to properly monitor my account. I applied for credit card and car loan and I been haven’t been able to use my credit card for over 6months despite making payments on it. I was told they combine both car loan and credit card balance as one, which doesn’t make any sense to a customer’s financial situation. I wasn’t told about this policy before signing up. I asked for a copy of their policy and I haven’t received one. I won’t be applying for anymore credit card or debit card with them because they’re not customer friendly and lack good customer service. Lastly, you cannot make payments without going to their limited number of branches (they have only 3 locations and all 30mins+ drive away). You have to call to pay with an outside debit card everytime unless you make the long drive to put the amount due in your account. I wish they would allow bank to bank links to make online payments more convenient, especially since they close at 5pm. Working a 9-5 would make that even more challenging. Overall, I would hate for anyone to just get stuck paying off a credit card balance on a credit card they cannot use for more than 6months. I do not recommend.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
