The ladies here are fantastic! extremely helpful and willing to work with you! No other credit union would take me in and help me get my financial status back into the green. but they did! Now i am debt free! Lifetime bank as long as they stay open!

I recently bought a vehicle from an out of state private party. Jamie took all the stress out of the process. Professional, knowledgable, helpful & whatever other positive comment applies to Jamie. I give her an A+++

I saw a negative review saying something to the affect that they wished the employees at SMFCU Were younger and more knowledgeable. I couldn't disagree more. Before entering into any large financial transaction, like the HELOC loan I took out with SMFCU. I always do my homework. I took about a month exploring my options. I talked in depth with 3 lending institutions, and reviewed online options. (Lending Tree, Quicken etc.) I found SMFCU not only knowledgeable, but they had the best rate and payment options available. And I was blown away by how fast and easy it was. I'm self employed, so that usually makes it harder when applying for loans and credit. Not so with my SMFCU transaction. I turned in my loan application on a Monday and the funds were dispersed to me the following Monday! Now I personally thought that was amazing! I do have a decent credit score and I provided all the necessary documents the first time, having studied what would be required. So I'm sure that helped. But I don't think age had anything to do with the knowledge and excellent service I received. And at the time of my loan I was not even an SMFCU member. Well I am now...they won my business.
