Solarity Credit Union talks a big game about “caring for members,” but my experience as a member with ADA-protected communication needs tells a very different story. After I clearly documented my required communication accommodations, they continue to ignore my emails and faxes instead of working with me in good faith, effectively shutting down an accessible channel that federal guidance treats as part of “effective communication” for people with disabilities. Their "legal department" (attorney name - Roger Bailey) has been unresponsive and dismissive, forcing me to burn money on physical mail and mail-forwarding just to get basic issues addressed, while they claim to be member-focused and accessible. If you rely on accessible, documented communication or expect a financial institution to take ADA and disability rights seriously, think very carefully before trusting Solarity with your business.

Do not recommend this bank. Their machines have issues, and instead of helping customers, the employees just stand around talking to each other. It’s incredibly frustrating when all you want to do is make a simple deposit. I’m seriously considering moving my accounts somewhere that still values real customer service and face-to-face help. Solarity feels more like a self-checkout at Walmart or Safeway than an actual bank.

The customer service is over the top. The associates great you with respect and treat you like they would want to be treated. Customer relations is their number one priority.

I’ve had it with this bank. My card has been declined more than 4 different times now not just out of town, but also right here in town and even online. Every time I call, they blame it on “suspicious activity” if I’m out of town, but that excuse makes no sense when I’m literally trying to make a purchase locally. It’s beyond frustrating. Imagine being in an emergency and not being able to use your own money because your bank keeps shutting you down. I’ve checked with the places I’m making purchases from, and there’s nothing wrong on their end it’s always the bank. This is ridiculous, unreliable, and honestly unacceptable. Customers should be able to trust that their money will work when they need it most.
