This place has no business being called a reputable financial institution. I can't believe we thought it was a good idea to put our money here. They don't have mobile deposit, they were completely incapable of setting up a wire transfer such they we had to keep calling and escalating until we finally reached someone high enough up the ladder that they were able to work a computer, and now they're demanding we come in and physically sign a piece of paper and then physically transport that piece of paper to a courthouse to close our HELOC so we can sell our house. If you're considering opening account, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This place is a joke. Unless you want the charm of knowing how it was to do your banking in the 1940s - in which case maybe this place is right up your alley.

Absolutely no business being called a bank. More like a gatekeeper of your own money. I called them to tell them I'm buying a cruise and they told me they won't up my daily soending limit, I gotta use a credit card. How ridiculous.

Star Federal Credit union recently updated their banking system. Haven’t been able 2 access my account because my password was erased during conversion. My local branch has tried 2 help me but there hands r tied by main office. Soon as someone answers a phone @ main office, will be transferring my assets 2 a more complete banking system. Ty

This is not a local bank for me. I join when it was Greyhound Credit union because of my father. I have a savings account and have been unable to talk with anyone. I text them also. I soon will be closing my account. That update they did was disaster for them

Has anyone made an error on automatic payments? Amazon Prime took out my annual membership without notifying me. This cause my checking account to be overdrawn. I tried to get a small loan to cover the shortage and didn't receive a call back from the loan officer until I spoke to the branch manager five days later, by then it was to late. I inquired if the fees could be reversed because I had been a good customer for 15 yrs with automatic payroll deposits. I was told the the TOP Executives said no. I guess they never made a mistake with their checking account. Please go to the BB&T in Ashton Place on Quarter G ask for Summer Waugh. Summer cared and helped me in the time of need.
Weekdays 9am–4pm typically have the shortest wait times for new member inquiries.
