Spent the past 2 days trying to set up an appointment for a sat to go in and open an account for my son. I got transferred yesterday and left a message and got no call back. I called again today got put on hold for 17 min just to get hung up on. Think its time to start finding a different bank.

Their customer service was second to none. I was completely impressed with the professionalism I received from Mercedes Givemore! As a matter of fact, if I were to write this review a month earlier, I would have no pleasantries to share with you. In the midst of us conducting business, Mercedes still found a small amount of time to ask how my day was going. I haven't been with this credit union long enough to give a review on the product, but as far as the customer service goes, this was a huge Dennis Rodman rebound for me, dealing with Mercedes Givemore.

Very disappointed in this organization where they put a block on my debit card for purchases I have made in the past numerous times. This all started in December of 2024 around Christmas time when I was shopping for Christmas. I wasn't able to respond to the text because I was in an appointment and didn't have my phone. Again this was for purchases I have made previously without any problem. And if you ask them a question on your account for a few purchases because you didn't know what they were but you weren't concerned they will put a block on your deb it card even without asking them to. They are anal about when they put a block on your card. It is their policy and they don't care how it inconveniences their customers. I would leave this organization but there would be an issues with a deposit I get that I just don't want to change it at this time. If you don't mind having your card blocked for questions on your account or previous made purchases please go ahead and bank with them.

Terrible communication- went in and applied for a loan, left and didn't hear back from anyone for over 2 weeks. Spent a week making multiple phone calls per day as well as emails to finally get a response almost a month from original visit to be told our official had been transferred and new person would reach out. Took 3 weeks to hear from her, only to again be transferred to a new agent. Radio silence for weeks. Called and emailed again over past few weeks and have still yet to hear back from anyone-even after reception promised to hand deliver my message after voicemails and emails remain unanswered. Thankfully another company was interested in my business and I will no longer be pursuing any loans or moving my business accounts into this organization.

I have been a customer of this company for a little over 2 years now. I have 2 loans and have handed them over 85k in the last 2 years. I was turned down for a 40k loan to buy my wife a car because my home is in Louisiana. Mind you, this has been my address the entire time. They financed both of the 1st 2 loans under that same address. I feel as though I have been discriminated against, merely because of where I am from. I travel the U.S. for work with my wife and 4 teenage sons and they have known this since the 1st loan. Why would my address make a difference now? They didnt care about my address when I paid 30k to them to clear my negative balance from my 1st truck. 2 years ago. But now it's a problem. I will be moving my business elsewhere. I dont recommend this company. They dont care about their customers. Oh, they will talk a good game and even have their higher ups text and call you to tell you the reasons why they can't help you. Find someone else, anyone else. Had to edit since Google will not let me reply to their reply. You aren't sorry for losing me. You already got almost 100k of my money in the last 2 years, so you dont care if you lose me at this point. Just so you know, I will be seeking legal advice on this matter. Your guy Chad literally told me i would be approved if i wasnt from Louisiana. Have a good day. Hopefully this review will help someone from being used by a business like yours.
