I have been a loyal customer of Guardian Credit Union (Oak Creek) for several years. Although there are many wonderful things about Guardian (no fees, easily accessible ATMs, sister branches for when banking out of town, security alerts, mobile friendly app and site to manage all banking needs, etc.), the best part of Guardian is their caring staff. I recently had a bad situation when I bought some products for my dog via a Facebook sponsored business. The business was extremely difficult to deal with, would not honor the terms, and left me little to no recourse than contacting Guardian for help. I am pleased to say both customer service and the fraud analyst, Breanna, knew exactly what to do. They immediately took action to protect me, my accounts, and debit card. Breanna took the time to contact me directly for my side of the story, allowed me to send all the evidence to her for her to swiftly shut down the fraud, and make me feel like a safe and valued member. If you are looking for an institution that looks out for you, I highly recommend Guardian for all of your financial needs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My checking and savings account was hacked and I noticed 2 high purchases that I did not make. I called GCU immediately and explained my situation. They gave me excellent advice and their fraud department handled my complaint and rectified my account very professionally and quickly. When you have some like this happen it can be very stressful and they helped to ensure they had it under control and explained the process to me so I was confident they it under control.Breanna was great!

I have had a couple of very bad experiences with the Auto Loan officers at Guardian Credit Union. Most recently I requested a 10 day pay out to sell my car to Carvana. Kristen Litwicki submitted my 10 day pay out for a 2021 Charger and after I signed the paperwork with Carvana and gave them my car Guardian went back on the 10 day Offer and demanded $4000 in addition to the 10 day pay off quote to release the title of the vehicle. Guardian didnt do anything to help or make the situation right. Based on this alone I will never get another loan through Guardian and eventually plan to close my accounts with them. I had another incident prior to this incident where Guardian double charged my account a payment and when I called to correct the issue, the loan officer was rude and hung up on me. It seems Guardians Auto Loan department is less then professional. One incident can be forgiven. But this seems to be a pattern.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Breanna Sloat for all that she has done for us. Her tenacity and hard work was incredible. Her kindness toward us was reassuring and much appreciated. The outcome was more than satisfactory. We are so grateful for all that Guardian and Breanna has done for us. Thank you so so much!!!!!

Heather Rios was wonderful to work with. I recently lost my debit card and the thief made several fraudulent charges. She helped connected with the vendors and eventually was able to reimburse me. She kept me updated throughout the process and cared about my issue and concerns. I highly recommend Guardian Credit Union bank to all interested new members because they have the best employees!
