I called Winnebago community c.u. on a Friday at 4:30 I got a real person to talk to and was able to get all my mortgage questions answered. I eventually switched to WCCU and refinanced my home and car lone. I saved over $20,000 . This was one of my best financial decision .

I been with this lender for over a decade and I do not know what happened to this bank. Their lending department have totally went from excellent service to total disaster. I have always lend from this lender and who know what happened, they have been slacking in customer service. Don't expect to get any call back and don't expect any great customers service if you're not in the lobby. It took them about a whole damn month just to tell me I wasn't qualify for a auto loan and they made all kind of excuses. They wouldn't call me back, the lenders is supposedly working with other members or on the phone. After leaving so many messages, no one ever respond back. So I decided to show up in person to catch them off gaurd and long and behold, they were just chatting among themselves. There were no on in the lobby. They seems anxious because they got caught red-handed. Now they're acting like they're working on my loan application. Now that I'm in front of them, they have no excuse and work on my application. With great credit and income, they told me I needed a cosigner and when I presented my cosigner, they changed their story again saying they won't be able to do the loan do to some mysterious policy that your adult childrens cannot cosign for you. Kind of funny how your adult children can't cosign for you but a random stranger can? Instead of pondering on it, I went to a different lender and within an hour, instant approval with the same APR and terms with the same income info. The only downside is the car that I wanted is no longer available. It's such a damn shame that this lender have lost so much of its integrity over its lack of customer relations. This lender is ridiculous and should be ashamed of themselves.
