Whether using the drive thru, calling about a debit card issue or applying for a car loan, I have found the NCCU to exceed my expectations for great customer service and interaction. I would recommend checking out their loans, before applying anywhere else! I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful always! My review is based on the staff and services in the Park Falls office.

Northwoods Community Credit Union in Park Falls is everything a local credit union should be. It’s run by and for its members, with a volunteer, unpaid board of directors that any member can run for. The rates are second to none, and the service is outstanding. When you have a question or concern, you can actually reach someone who listens and cares. This is community banking at its best — transparent, personal, and deeply committed to its members.

This credit union hasn't been too shabby. When I opened an account here it was easy and the employees were friendly and easy to work with. Haven't experienced any issues here except when trying to call them. I called about 5 times in order to request a mailed statement. First 4 times I got "Caller unavailable." Though when I finally got to speak to someone, the lady was friendly and helpful. So I think they could use some improvement but they are a pretty good credit union as they are.

I will be moving all my business very soon. This place lacks customer service, loan department absolutely sucks. You can't get through the telephone lines. You might as well take an $8k income/mo and ask for a $5k loan and get a no can't do anything for you. On a loan app, I've done same career as a truck driver 15 yrs and they claimed since I had 3 employers in past 5 yrs that my job is temporary. NEVER had any gaps in my employment neither. Lived at last address 8 yrs. Idiots and could care less if they fold up. My review is the main headquarters in Ashland, WI.

Used to be a good place to bank and then I don’t know all the good people retired and now nobody knows what they’re doing in the lawn department and they seem to like to screw people‘s credit up
