I paid 2 loans off 1 for 14000 and a second for 8700. Then was denied for a loan of 6500. That is fine but was told they tried to reach me but phone was buisy. I have no missed calls or voice mail. I was told I was delinquent on my past loan. I always paid early. I will go to Chase and get my money. Shame when you can't support local.

I have been with alloy over 10 years, ii Alloy and I can not talk highly enough about manager or the staff in Alloy , rather over the phone or in person. The Thing I love best is they all know who you are and your family, they have always been there when I needed advise, or needed things reviewed or what ever. When my wife passed they helped me with things to make sure all was fine, and as far as being a small credit union or bank I think that is an advantage, I grew up in time and age where whenever you walk into the bank or any business in town, they knew you or your family, you never felt like outsider when you entered the business. Always greeted friendly and chit chat a little while doing business, those were truly great days. I would love to see more of that today. If you have the pleasure to be a member, you should be greatful that your dealing with friends, neighbors, or maybe even family. Those of you in WV that have any of the staff there too help you in my opinion are extremely very lucky and blessed. That know and understanding what is important to you all. Now living in NC I have changed where I do banking, and only because I relocated to NC to be closer family will I be leaving AFCU. Thank you ladies for all you have done for both my wife and me over last 10 years, you will always be part of me and my life. You.will be in my thought and prayers snd love always. Michael Kacer

Asked for a 5 year truck loan 3 years ago - denied (even with a 790 credit score). Got a loan through my bank - paid it off in 3 years (thppt to Alloy FCU). Then I discover they are charging a $5.00 dormancy fee (never informed me of this change) - so pulling my remaining funds out today ! Far cry from the organization that was when my dad worked at Alloy.
