15 Years of Campco: Still Not Broke, Still Not Bored. I’ve been with Campco Credit Union since flip phones were cool and gas was under $2. That’s 15 years of car loans, emergency “why did I buy that?” loans, and one very suspicious hot tub purchase they still approved. Rates? Criminally good. Service? Impeccable Tellers? 9/10 are MVPs. The 10th? Let’s just say she moves like she’s paid by the hour… per minute. Big bank benefits, zero big bank attitude. It’s like if your rich uncle ran a credit union and actually liked you. Bottom line: Campco’s been holding my wallet (and my dignity) together since 2010. 5 stars, 10/10, would finance questionable life choices again.

Most credit unions will call to make sure you add them to your vehicle as a lienholder, not Campco. Even if you have insurance they will tack on forced placed insurance on to your loan without notification! Really terrible place to have a loan.

I went in for a $15,000 car loan, bearing in mind I've been banking through Campco for years and have always maintained a positive balance in my account. I always pay my bills ahead of time and have never once overdrafted my account. Yet, when I walked in for this loan, I was told that I would need collateral for my vehicle loan, which makes no sense whatsoever. Then, they said I would have to already own the vehicle to get a loan for it. Let me say that one more time: you need to own the vehicle to get a loan on it. Nothing they said made any sense at all. Last but not least, they refused to check my credit score and told me I was wasting my time. When i made my account I thought I was going to be taken care of...I will definitely be switching banks.

I want to express my opinion of the service from Monse Morales. I have come to her 4 times now and each every time I have come her customer service is outstanding, she is very pleasant and never made me that Im bothering her, if people were Monse what a great world we would have! Monse is 💯 asset to Campco federal credit and that bank here. Sincerely Laura M. Castaneda

Be careful they will rip you off and put insurance on vehicle/motorcycle loans when you have insurance. They did it with both my car and motorcycle loan. Which both had insurance with the exception of 10 days on my motorcycle during winter when it was parked in a locked garage and charged me more for 10 days then I pay all year! My car loan never lapsed and they did the same thing…watch out total scam!
